Expanded Blade Ejectors Offer Mold-Ready Features
Progressive Components has expanded its offering of blade ejectors with new optional features to reduce in-house machining. Referred to as “mold-ready,” this component arrives with features completed that have traditionally been performed in the tool room, with a configurable part number that eliminates the need for a print to be provided. With configurable part numbers, ordering blade ejectors with radii is simplified: Start with the original part number (BE125-046L6.155) and add the radius size to the part number (BE125-046L6.155-K.094-R.020, as an example with a .020″ radius).

Descaling Systems Eradicate Debris in Cooling Passages and Water Lines
PCS Company is now serving as a seller/distributor for Goodway heavy-duty, industrial portable descaling systems for mold maintenance, water line cleaning and general plant uses. The Goodway GDS-C40 and larger GDS-C92 descaling units are made of heavy-duty polyethylene and acid-proof components. They are primarily targeted for use to remove scale, mineral, rust and grime from cooling passages and water lines, which can be within hot runner systems and injection or die cast molds. The units can also be utilized for general plant use in exchangers, boiler tubes, chiller tubes and more.

Mini Angled, Round Toolholders Offer Versatile Cutting for Internal, External Applications
Thinbit by Kaiser Tool Inc. has expanded its line of angled round toolholders with the addition of its Mini Groove ‘N Turn line with Acme Threading inserts. These threading inserts are designed to cut thread sizes of 6 threads per inch and greater. The tools have the geometry to cut standard 29-degree acme thread profiles for internal and external applications. The Acme threading tools can be used to cut other thread profiles — such as centralizing or stub profiles — by overcutting. The inserts can also be used for internal Acme threads on parts with bore diameters of .325" and larger.
