Plastic Process Equipment Inc. (PPE) highlights its Cable Crosschecker for the quick and easy testing of hot runner cables.
Users must simply connect the power or thermocouple cable and press “auto test.” The microprocessor design tests the cable automatically performing a 625 point-to-point testing procedure. According to the company, all it takes is a push of a single button to instantly see results.
Use the Cable Crosschecker to identify bad Power and TC cables, make repairs or build new ones for 1-, 5-, 8- and 12-zone systems. Thermocouple cables are tested for opens, shorts and reversed thermocouples. PPE’s Cable Crosschecker also includes a continuity tester, wire finder functions, a two-year warranty and connectors for both 25-pin, 3 row power cables, 24-pin, 2 row cables (controller side).
Additionally, the company does offer custom connectors available through special order.
